The Birds Gallery

Since my early days grubbing around in the fields and ditches of the countryside surrounding my native Liverpool, I've always been interested in Natural History. Both this Gallery and the Insects Gallery reflect that. One of my photographic ambitions is to improve my bird photography, getting inside the 'fear circle' for much tighter images. For now, I'm content to photograph the birds in their environment.
