Damselfly in patch of sunlight
Taken along a riverbank in Indiana, a group of these damselflies seemed territorial, always returning to the same leaf before flying off on another brief hunt. I think they also distrusted me, as they always seemed to keep both eyes facing in my direction, enabling me to capture a somewhat unusual view of these marvellous insects.
